Leading the transformation of Carlisle

Carlisle Renaissance is a partnership that draws on the leadership, resources and skills of the public and private sector to deliver shared priorities for Carlisle.

The partnership was founded by Carlisle City County, Cumbria County Council and the Northwest Development Agency, and involves Cumbria Vision and representatives from the private sector.  It has a private sector led Board, and a dedicated Delivery Team.

Carlisle Renaissance gets things done by providing leadership and by coordinating, facilitating and supporting the activities of partners. You can find out more about how we operate and are structured in our Action Plan.
